Mi Casa en Cozumel

I recently spent a week at Mi Casa and had a great experience. The location is perfect - - close to the waterfront but far enough to have some peace and quiet. The big Soriana supermarket is a 10-minute walk, and there are tons of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. I stayed in the Mango Room, which was spacious and comfortable - - I appreciated having a small kitchen separate from the bedroom - - and it was nice to have a private outdoor seating area. The daily breakfast was great. I would definitely stay at Mi Casa again.

It is soooo happy to come back after 13 years!!! It’s still like my home, mi casa is a perfect name for this place. It’s nothing like the inclusive luxury hotel in Cancun where everything is designed to tell you “ welcome guest” , but more like a place really you want to call it home. If I have a vacation house, this is my dreamed one. English speakers: When you call taxi, they will be confused hearing Micasa and let you describe the address. Don’t say five - A avienda, it’s “ fifth Quinta avienda “

Great price for a great boutique hotel. Secure and close to restaurants, el centro, tiendas, but far enough away that it was quiet. Our room had a cute little private patio area. Wifi was a bit spotty for Zoom calls on my old phone, but was sufficient for watching videos and browsing. TV had Netflix. Our room had a little kitchen with a fridge, microwave and stove - so we could heat up leftovers from the delicious restaurants near by. The hotel also accommodated us with a little extra bed for our 6 year old daughter. Breakfast was simple, but tasty and saved us from having to eat out or cook every morning. The owner was helpful and responsive about every request we had. The pool is in a separate building and didn't seem to be utilized much, but the hotel is right by many beach clubs so we preferred to use beach clubs as opposed to the pool.

Would absolutely stay here again! We needed to make a last minute change to our accommodations, and I was easily able to communicate with Mi Casa en Cozumel via whatsapp to get a last minute reservation. The location is fantastic if you want to be a little bit into town, but still very close to the main road to hail a taxi. There is an empanada stand right next door that is open until noon, and it was an added bonus to this hotel! The open air interior is very peaceful, and makes for excellent breezes, and the trees make excellent shade for the balconies! Since there are only 9 rooms total, it's a very homey, and comfortable stay. Overall this place was a fantastic find, and I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to anyone traveling to Cozumel.

We stayed for a week at Mi Casa en Cozumel, which is a small boutique hotel located downtown about one block from the waterfront. The location could not be better. The area is quiet and safe with everything one might need for an extended stay, including many restaurants and two large supermarkets within easy walking distance. The hotel design is very stylish and the construction quality is top notch. Memo, the owner, is easy to reach by WhatsApp. He is very responsive and helpful. The outdoor lounging areas are really nice with plenty of shade, nice seating areas and a constant cooling breeze. The hotel is probably due for a minor touch up including some paint and perhaps updating of some of the fixture and furniture (some of the furniture was a bit rustic, but that may be part of the style). The room was dark and quiet and night. The air conditioning system is easy to use and works well. We really enjoyed having a kitchen in our room (the Mango room) as we were diving most days so we needed to have breakfast before 7:30 am when the hotel starts serving breakfast. Although, we enjoyed the hotel breakfast on the days we were not diving. All in all, a great place, in a great location and a terrific value.

Wow, it’s not often that I give 5 stars and feel it was fully deserved! Mi Casa is a fabulous stay in Cozumel. Great location walking distance from the pier but still quiet, with wonderful natural ambiance and elegant design. Staff are friendly and flexible (store bags before/after if needed), breakfast is good and served til 10 My room was perfect: spacious bathroom & super hot water in the shower, terrace with a tree that offers privacy and nature vibes, even a mini fridge and water jug outside the door. I really didn’t want to leave and wish my rental unit in PDC was this nice Price is great too!

We felt very comfortable here for our week in Cozumel. We loved having a kitchenette and an outside hammock and dining table. The architecture is really unique and we loved the modern and natural touches. Memo quickly responded by email. We felt like this was a great value. Past reviews mentioned barking dogs but I don't think this is a problem any longer. We liked that it was a short walk to the main square.

This was the perfect place for us, my husband and I wanted something a little more unassuming and affordable in Cozumel. Mi Casa en Cozumel was just that! Our little getaway was in the Mango room and it was the perfect spot to walk around Centro, go to stores, restaurants, and bars then pop in for a quick break before our next activity. Our hosts were friendly and relaxed. The breakfast every morning hit the spot!
